The cold laser therapy is a great choice in addressing pain related issues, and helping advance the healing process. This drug-free, non-invasive, painless treatment takes an average of 15 minutes and produces results that last. Soon you will be on your way to feeling better.

What is cold laser therapy treatment?

A noninvasive procedure that uses low-energy (“cold”) laser light to penetrate the skin and soft tissue to help heal and eliminate pain. It is used to:

  • Promote healing
  • Release endorphins for pain relief
  • Accelerate healing by 10x the normal rate
  • Stimulate the immune system
  • Improve the quality of life for the patient
  • Weight loss protocol

Is the laser treatment safe?

Yes. Laser therapy is safe, painless, non-invasive and drug-free.

Does it work?

Our clinic has a 90% success rate in reducing or eliminating pain. While we cannot eliminate all types of pain, most musculoskeletal pain can be alleviated. Not only does the laser address pain, but it also helps and promotes healing to the injured area.

Will it hurt?

Because the laser is “cold”, meaning a low power level, you won’t feel any pain, heat or discomfort.

How many times will I need treatment?

Laser therapy produces results quickly. For most acute conditions, 2-3 treatments are all you will need. Chronic conditions take longer and might require 6 – 12 treatments. While these are the averages, each person is unique and healing time varies by person and condition. For those with lifelong conditions, we are able to get patients on a 1-2 month maintenance schedule.

How long will each treatment take?

Depending on the condition, treatment times will last on average 15 minutes. Duration of treatment is based on the size of area, depth of penetration and condition being treated. TMJ patients average 5-7 minutes while a full spinal treatment can take as long as 25 minutes.

How soon can I be active again?

The moment you leave the clinic you may resume your normal daily activity. Even though you may feel better, do not over exert yourself. Remember, your body is healing.
