Regenerative Therapy

What is Regenerative Medicine?

While regenerative medicine is not new, it is being perfected in new ways to help our bodies heal themselves.

When injured, our bodies have a natural defense mechanism and an innate response to heal. Regenerative medicine is a field of medicine that is working to restore structure and function to damaged tissues, joints, and organs.

Revlis Medical, an advocate for non-invasive, natural healing, and Regenerative medicine procedures using:

  • Amniotic/Umbilical Derived Allographs
  • Warton’s jelly
  • PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

We all have regenerative cells in our bodies. These “undifferentiated” cells are able to morph into whatever specific type of cell is needed within the body. All of the different tissues that make up our body — the heart, brain, blood, bones, muscles, tendons, and more — originated from regenerative cells. When the body suffers damage to its tissues, a signal is sent out to direct the available regenerative cells to the injury site, where they change into the cell type needed for repair; causing repair, regeneration, and restoration of damaged tissues.

The trouble is, as we get older, our own regenerative cells start to become less plentiful and also less efficient. Children have significantly more vibrant regenerative cells because they need a vast amount of highly functional regenerative cells for their bodies to properly develop and grow. Regenerative cell treatments offer us a way to tap into this incredible regenerative source.

Our clinic offers the most effective type of regenerative cellular tissue, which uses Wharton’s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells. Wharton’s jelly is found on the outer surface of umbilical cords of newborn babies. It is prized for its very high concentration of mesenchymal regenerative stem cells. Wharton’s jelly-based regenerative cell treatments can contain as much as 80% mesenchymal cells in comparison to more conventional umbilical cord blood sources that frequently only have as little as 3 to 5%.

Our umbilical allografts are collected on the day of birth during scheduled live cesarean deliveries. Donors are carefully screened in advance to ensure only the healthiest tissue is collected. The collection procedure is completely painless and safe. We source our regenerative cells from established, highly regulated tissue banks that operate under strict compliance with the FDA and the AATB (American Association of Tissue Banks).

Our tissue sourcing does not come from Embryonic/Aborted babies

Benefits of Regenerative Medicine

There are a number of benefits of regenerative medicine, including:

  • Safe – Regenerative Cell Therapy is extremely safe
  • Results Orientated– Our treatment plans are comprehensive, inclusive of post procedural therapy and nutritional supplementation.
  • Research Led – There are currently thousands of research studies being conducted on Regenerative Therapy therapy around the world

Note: Results can vary by patient.
